Awe’s art is inspired by music, dance, urban influences, and natural elements. In doing so, he constantly explores the boundaries of painting. Within his works, Awe blurs the lines between imagination and reality in a play of light and shadow. The three-dimensional color landscapes of his ‚water paintings‘ appear photorealistic, almost as if they were printed. They captivate through their artistic brilliance, as every single drop of water is painted by hand.

Christian Awe lives and works in Berlin and Palma de Mallorca. He is committed to numerous social and cultural projects focusing on education, health, and integration. Among other achievements, he realized the construction of a school and a hospital in Burkina Faso (West Africa).“
